1. Who we are and scope

Mimble, Inc. (“Mimble,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides GameClip AI. This policy covers the GameClip AI iPhone app, gameclipapp.com, and related support services. It explains processing of account information, player video and profiles, AI requests, subscriptions, backups, and exports.

GameClip AI provides Free, Pro, and Recruit Pro experiences. The current app stores team and coach records as local organizational information. Creating a team or assigning a coach does not grant another person remote access to your clips. Shared team libraries and coach invitations are not part of the current service.

Some information is processed only on your device. Other information reaches us or service providers when you sign in, use online features, enable backup, share content, or contact us. A category described below does not mean every item in your local library is uploaded to Mimble.

2. Information we process

The categories below describe information processed across the app and related services. They do not mean that every field or local recording is uploaded to Mimble. A player's profile is separate from the account used to sign in.

Information about other people

Recordings can identify people through their faces, voices, uniforms, location, or other details, even if their names are not entered. Provide information about another person only with the necessary authority and permissions. See the youth-player section below for additional considerations.

Support diagnostics

The in-app support email can prefill app, device, operating-system, and account diagnostics. Review that information before sending it. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment-card details, or unrelated sensitive information.

3. How we use information

• Authenticate accounts and provide subscription access.
• Record, organize, play, trim, compare, and export clips at your direction.
• Generate requested AI feedback, recruiting summaries, and social captions.
• Back up and recover clips when you enable the app's iCloud feature.
• Save analysis results, apply service limits, troubleshoot errors, and protect against abuse.
• Respond to support and privacy requests and deliver communications you request.
• Meet applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service and its users.

4. AI features and processing

Auto Capture runs on the device

AI Auto Capture uses on-device motion and person detection to help start and stop recording. Using that detector does not itself send camera frames to OpenAI. Requesting coaching feedback or AI-generated text is a separate action.

Coaching feedback and generated text

When you request AI clip analysis, the app extracts selected still frames from the chosen clip and sends them with relevant clip and player context through our Google Firebase backend to OpenAI. The current clip-analysis workflow uses still frames rather than sending the full video or its audio track to OpenAI.

When you request an AI recruiting summary or social caption, relevant player information and the text used to prepare that request are sent for processing. Depending on the feature, context can include the player's name, positions, graduation year, competition level, session information, tags, or saved metrics. Only supply information needed for your intended output.

These requests may contain personal information about the player or other people shown in the frames. Recording and AI processing are different choices: you can record without requesting cloud AI feedback. If you do not want content sent for AI processing, do not use the AI analysis or AI text-generation features.

Saved results and provider retention

Analysis results are saved with the clip on your device. Our backend also stores account-associated analysis results for reuse where applicable and usage records to administer daily service limits. Deleting a local clip does not by itself establish that a server-side result or service log has been removed.

OpenAI may retain request content and related records under its API data-control and safety policies. We do not represent AI processing as zero-retention. OpenAI's published API policy describes default abuse-monitoring retention of up to 30 days, with exceptions and additional retention depending on the feature and configuration. See OpenAI API data controls for provider details. Our own saved results and usage records are separate from OpenAI's retention.

AI output can be inaccurate or unsuitable for a particular athlete. It is informational and should be evaluated by a qualified coach. It is not an injury evaluation, medical diagnosis, or guarantee of recruiting or athletic outcomes.

5. Location and device permissions

Camera and microphone: used to record clips and sound. Slow-motion recordings and comparison exports may be silent. Photos: used to save videos you choose to export; the system photo picker lets you select a player image.

Location: optional access while the app is in use can add precise coordinates and a place name to a recording. Coordinates may be processed through Apple's location services to obtain the place name.

You can change permissions in iPhone Settings. Declining location access allows recording without new geotags. Denying camera or microphone permissions may prevent the documented recording workflow from working. Device permission prompts do not replace consent required for sending personal information to a third-party AI service.

6. Local storage and iCloud backup

Recorded clips and the working player library are stored on the device. Signing out does not erase local clips or player profiles. On a shared device, changing the signed-in GameClip account should not be treated as creating an isolated video library. Protect access to the device and remove sensitive local content when appropriate.

If you enable the app's optional iCloud backup, clip files and recovery information are copied to the app's container in the device owner's iCloud account. Recovery information includes player names, sessions, tags, dates, and recording details. Backed-up video can include embedded location information. Recovery can recreate player records from that information.

This is private backup associated with the iCloud account on the device. It is not a shared team library. Turning off new backups does not necessarily remove copies already stored in iCloud. Apple device backups and iCloud Photos, if enabled separately, are governed by your Apple settings and may create additional copies independently of the app's backup option.

7. Sharing and service providers

Your chosen recipients: the iOS share sheet can send videos and text to the people, apps, or destinations you select. Shared material can include player names, tags, entered metrics, AI feedback, captions, and location metadata. Exported overlays visibly include the selected player and performance information. Recipients can keep or redistribute copies.

Providers supporting requested features: Google Firebase supports authentication, backend requests, analysis storage, and service limits; OpenAI processes AI requests; Apple supports purchases, Sign in with Apple, iCloud, Photos, and system location services. Hosting, form, email, and support providers process information needed to operate the website and respond to you.

Legal and business circumstances: information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, address security or misuse, protect rights, or support a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of the business subject to applicable protections.

We do not sell personal information for money or use player videos or youth-player information for third-party behavioral advertising. Selecting a coach in a local team record does not automatically share footage with that person.

When a recipient or provider processes information for its own independent purposes, its own privacy terms also apply. This does not remove our responsibility for how we handle your information or engage providers on our behalf.

8. Children and youth players

GameClip AI is intended for parents, coaches, and eligible players. Children under 13 may not independently create or manage an account. Users aged 13 or older who are below the age of legal majority must have permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

A parent, guardian, coach, or organization providing information about a minor must have the necessary authority and permissions for recording, uploading, AI processing, and sharing. Being a coach or team administrator does not automatically substitute for legally required parental consent. Do not include unnecessary sensitive details in player profiles, AI requests, or recruiting content.

Parents and guardians may contact us to request information about personal data we hold concerning their child, request access or deletion, or ask us to stop further processing where applicable. We may verify identity and authority before responding. If we learn of an under-13 account or collection requiring parental authorization that has not been obtained, we will take appropriate steps to address the account and information in accordance with applicable law.

Account eligibility language does not replace the notices, consent, and other safeguards required by applicable children's privacy laws. Mimble remains responsible for its own legal obligations.

9. Deletion and your choices

Delete clips and profiles

Use the app's deletion controls to remove local clips or player profiles. Local clip deletion removes the local video, retained pre-trim original, and saved local analysis and metrics associated with that clip. Separately exported files, recipient copies, iCloud backups, and server-side records must be considered separately.

Delete your account

To initiate account deletion, open More → Settings → the account section → Delete Account. The app requires reauthentication to confirm the request. For questions about associated personal data or if you cannot access your account, contact us using the details below. Privacy requests can include account information and associated analysis or service records that we hold, subject to applicable retention requirements.

Do not assume that deleting the app, signing out, or deleting a local clip closes your account or removes every stored copy. If you want to retain a video, export it before removing your account or local library. Copies already saved to Photos, an iCloud account, or another recipient's service require separate management.

Account deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel billing in your Apple Account subscription settings. You can access Apple's subscription management page.

Other choices

You can stop requesting AI processing, change iPhone permissions, disable new app-managed backups, and choose what to export. Withdrawing permission does not automatically recall content previously shared or remove information retained under applicable requirements. Contact us for help with an access or deletion request.

10. Retention and security

Retention depends on the record and purpose. Local content remains subject to your device and deletion choices. Private iCloud backups remain subject to the relevant backup and storage controls. Account records support authentication; saved analysis supports reuse of results; usage counters support service limits; technical logs support security and troubleshooting; support correspondence supports requests and their resolution.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes and applicable legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute requirements. Relevant factors include whether the account or request remains active, whether a record is needed to resolve a problem or meet a legal obligation, and whether deletion has been requested. Service-provider retention and separately maintained backups may differ. We do not promise that all copies are deleted immediately or according to one universal deadline.

We use safeguards intended to protect information, including account authentication and controlled access to backend services. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device and credentials and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.

11. Website and communications

When you use gameclipapp.com, the website and its providers may process network and browser information to deliver pages, handle forms, and maintain security. Cookies or similar storage may support sessions, preferences, and form operation. Third-party pages or embedded content, where present, can have separate data practices; consult the notices and controls provided with those services.

Our contact form collects the fields and attachments you submit, including contact details and, for technical issues, device, app, and troubleshooting information. Submit only footage you are authorized to provide. An adult should submit support forms concerning a minor.

If you choose to receive marketing updates, we use the contact information you provide for that purpose. You can unsubscribe from optional marketing communications. Necessary service, security, subscription, or privacy responses are separate from marketing.

12. Privacy rights and international processing

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; opt out of specified processing; or appeal a privacy decision. You may also have a right to complain to an appropriate privacy authority. These rights can be subject to exceptions and verification requirements.

Contact us to exercise a right or appeal a response. An authorized representative may submit a request where permitted by law, with appropriate proof of authority. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Mimble is based in the United States. Information may be processed by us and our providers in the United States and other countries. Applicable legal bases can include providing the service you request, your consent, meeting legal obligations, and legitimate interests such as protecting and maintaining the service where that basis is available. Applicable international-transfer requirements also depend on where you use the service and how information is processed.

13. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as features, providers, or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice or seek consent when required. New sharing or processing features may require additional disclosures before you use them.
